Recruitment Criteria

Analyst

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
    Interest in consulting and a willingness to learn

  • Desire to take initiative and contribute to team success


Nice to have:

  • Interest in consulting, problem-solving, and working with clients

  • Relevant experience in any discipline - business, engineering, science, arts, or others

  • Comfort with data analysis, research, or collaborative teamwork

  • Prior involvement in extracurriculars, case competitions, or similar experiences (optional, not required)

Senior Analyst

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on time in a team setting

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and interpretive skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • Demonstrated reliability in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings


Nice to have:

  • Prior exposure to consulting-style environments (e.g., case competitions, research projects, or cross-functional teams)

  • Strong interest in consulting, strategy, or project-based problem-solving

  • Experience mentoring peers or taking on leadership roles (preferred but not required)

Project Manager

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to liaise with clients and communicate recommendations effectively

  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities 


Nice to have:

  • Professional or extensive pro-bono consulting experience

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams or external stakeholders

  • Prior exposure to client-facing work or strategic decision-making environments

  • Proactive interest in mentoring and coaching others

We hire for 3 types of roles: Analyst, Senior Analyst, and Project Manager.

The majority of this form collects administrative information. The main submission is your cover letter, resume, and unofficial transcript prepared in one PDF file with the following name convention: LastName_FirstName_Role (e.g. Smith_Jane_SC).

  • Behavioral questions - please be prepared to discuss your interest in SCI, why consulting, and prior leadership experience

  • Case problem solving - an interviewer-led discussion to solve a business problem relating to market sizing, profitability, new product development, supply chain optimization etc.
